PUNKS BEFORE PROFITS started in 1999 as a zine that came out every few months. About a year into that the label was born. The goal then and the goal now is still the same. I put out records that i want to own, and think should be heard. This label gives me the forum to help great DIY hardcore punk bands. I want nothing to do with the professional side of music i just put out records that need to be heard and enjoyed. This is just an expensive hobby that i love. The best part of this music scene is that we do it for the passion and energy we get from it. It’s up to you to keep it alive and keep supporting this movement.
